Hi, I’m Daniel Galbreath. Off-roader since my teenage years.
When I was 12 or 13, my uncle took me off-roading, I still remember how amazed I was that we could drive over and through some of the trails. Later, as a young teen, I got into dirt bikes.
My first truck was Chevrolet G30 that I got as a gift when I turned 17. Back then I didn’t know about lift kits, tires or snorkels, but I was “sending it” before it became a meme.
Needless to say, that vehicle didn’t last very long. At least it taught me that I can wheel it but I have to take care of it too.
Got a jeep a few years later. The craze for off-roading was still on my mind. I just started doing it after getting my first jeep and love it more and more with each trip!!!
I had many of them, several different models. Got tired of having to replace the whole drivetrain, re-gear, lockers etc. Was working on my jeep one day and looked at my Kawasaki motorcycle, thought about how I hardly ever have to work on it, hardly ever worked on my quads.
So, I bought a Teryx4 too. Not the fastest or most impressive, but has. Even fairly reliable and is a beast. Having both Jeep and Teryx4 made it perfect for me.
I have met some of my greatest closet friends while off-roading! And I know several I could call and they would be there in a heartbeat to help me out! Also something I really enjoy doing as a family!
I spend my spare time writing on this website, WinchHub. I share my thoughts and reviews on different types of gears, share some tips sometimes. This website is specially created and regularly updated basically to help other folks like me when I started to solve the various problems they face, specially when they go off-roading.
Occasionally, my good friends that I met while off-roading also help me writing on this blog. I’m lucky to have them as friends. We thank you for visiting this website. Don’t forget to share it with your friends or loved ones who might need it if you find the website helpful!
Anyway, that’s all about me. If you have any questions but can’t find the answer on this website then please contact me using the contact page.
